MultiMatic - The Best Idea since the Discovery of Storage Space
Modern, intelligent kitchen design does not end with the design of the room and the selection of the materials for front panels and countertops. This was demonstrated once again by SieMatic at ‘The Design Annual’ in Frankfurt: Inspired by this year’s motto ‘inside: private identity’, SieMatic presented a concept kitchen on the topic of MultiMatic.
MultiMatic, the interior fitment system was presented in an unusual way at the convention stand: Its vertically-aligned, multifunctional rails decoratively meander across the wall surfaces creating different levels. In this way, the various MultiMatic components, such as hooks, clips, elastic tape, and baskets, can be positioned at different heights. The exact arrangement of the rails makes storing everyday items something special. The kitchen island in the center incorporates this design idea and continues it onto the center wall.
