Premium and luxury kitchen manufacturer SieMatic will provide answers to these questions with the S1, the company’s latest development, at this year’s CeBIT from March 3–8, 2009 in Hanover. As a high-end kitchen, the S1 is part of a show apartment exhibited by a team of researchers from TU Berlin in Hall 9 of the so-called Future Parc. The SieMatic S1 isn’t just a place to enjoy cooking, but to savor all of life. TV, DVD, Internet radio or iPod media can be played in high-end audio quality.
One of the kitchen’s particular infotainment highlights is the S1-Grid. Internet content such as e-mail, RSS feeds, and weather reports are presented within a stylish user interface. A user’s own photos and video clips from a home network enjoy an impressive presentation on the integrated display. Additional features include a recipe database, device and home automation ports, and a so-called myS1 website individually configured for each S1 buyer as a place to store important contact data and instruction manuals, for example.
