A brand demonstrates a position; it builds trust and aligns a direction. It also has cultural and economic value and is therefore a key success factor in business. But a brand does not appear out of thin air: The branding process takes time and requires a lot of work, consistent actions, sustained communication, and steadfast adherence to a design language.
Launched by the internationally renowned German Design Council, the German Brand Institute is tasked with presenting and rewarding groundbreaking achievements in the field of brand management. Competition is limited to companies nominated by the institute’s committees of experts, and the highest award of the “German Brand Award in GOLD 2016” was given to the SieMatic brand on June 16, 2016.
To have been awarded the “German Brand Award 2016” in GOLD is our great honor and a wonderful recognition of the excellent work of the entire tea, both internally and externally – especially in recent years, when we put almost everything under the microscope and undertook fundamental changes.
